A whole ski day that revolves around you: I ski with you through the Kitzbühel ski area, choose the right runs, take care of lifts, breaks and the right mountain hut – and you simply enjoy the day.
Ski guiding means being personally accompanied on the marked slopes. You don’t have to plan anything, study a piste map or work out which lift goes where. I have known the ski area since my childhood on the Kitzbüheler Horn and know where to find sun, good snow and peace and quiet on any given day. You set the pace and the breaks – I make sure the day fits.
No ski touring: we stay on the marked slopes.
Safety comes first for me. Most of the time you hardly notice it, because it’s built into how the day is planned.
Coming to Kitzbühel for the first time, or would you rather spend the week skiing on your own? Then an orientation day at the start is ideal. I show you the ski area, the lift system, the runs that suit you and the huts worth visiting. For the rest of the week you ski on your own, perfectly oriented.
Tip: book your first day early – follow-up dates in high season are often already taken.
Kitzbühel lies lower than many high-alpine resorts, and many runs lead through sheltered forest. In fog or snowfall I know where visibility stays good – so even a grey day becomes a lovely ski day.
If you wish, we can clarify in advance where to rent skis, which lift pass makes sense and how best to plan your week. That way your holiday starts without any organisational stress.

“We are a family of 5 with a snowboarder in our group. Christian was extremely helpful with his knowledge of KitzSki, showing us all around and sharing interesting stories about local history as well as restaurant recommendations for our week’s stay in the area. … We highly recommend working with Christian if you are looking for a guide on your next trip to Kitzbuhel!” – Mark E.

No. With ski guiding I accompany you on the slopes and make sure the runs, the pace and the day suit you. The focus is on enjoying the ski area.
I don’t require any particular level. Whether you’ve been skiing for years, have taken a long break or have only a few ski days behind you: I choose runs, pace and breaks so that you feel comfortable. Just tell me briefly beforehand how you ski – and I’ll plan the day to suit you.
With careful planning: I choose runs that match your ability and the day’s conditions, avoid crowded and icy sections, keep an eye on weather and visibility and plan breaks in good time. That way you feel in good hands all day.
Usually a full day. Half days are available depending on availability, mainly in the low season.
From single guests, couples and families to groups and companies. I’m happy to advise you on what works best for your group.
Yes. I’m at home on both skis and a snowboard myself and plan the routes so that both have fun.
At the Hahnenkammbahn valley station in Kitzbühel – or I pick you up from your accommodation.
